What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Another find in the massive collection I am sorting through. It made me smile and pretty easy to see that something is not right here.

That 12ç QV cinderella is nice but it should be on the back - The 32ç is a 1984 stamp, issued also by France

That 12ç QV cinderella is nice but it should be on the back - The 32ç is a 1984 stamp, issued also by France Actually the amusing thing Rene is that Canada Post let the 12c photocopy pass as postage. The rate in 1993 was 43c thus the 32c and 12c would have been enough.

hdm1950 Yes - was wondering about the rate also and why the 12p passed that way - If Canada Post was as fast (actually they are on the slow pace in deliveries - homes) with its employees - Nothing comes in and have a bunch of mailings to come in incl. my replacement CC which stopped working a week ago - might arrive tomorrow, Friday - not happy and will do my complaints René

You both mis read the text and describe the Victoria as “12c “.
It is however in old colonial currency “12 Pence”
