New Zealand postage stamps from 1997 marking the centenary of the service started by the Great Barrier Island Pigeon-Gram Agency. Showing a first day cover and two triangular miniature sheets for Aupex '97, Auckland, NZ and Pacific 97, San Francisco. The stamps were based on the original Pigeon-Gram Agency stamps of 1899 used between Great Barrier Island and Auckland.

On the right we have an original Great Barrier Island stamp from 1899, the 6d blue. To the left, a souvenir sheet issued for 50th Anniversary of the 'Great Barrier Island Pigeon-Gram Agency' stamps. Finally. a cover with one of the 50th anniversary stamps attached issued by the Airmail Society of NZ. (Note that the original Agency in 1897 did not have any stamps, in 1898 a rival Service produced stamps and the Agency started issuing the triangular stamps in 1899) .

Here is another New Zealand Pigeon Post Cinderella. This particular stamp marks the tragedy of the New Zealand ship the SS Wairarapa on 29th October 1894. On its way from Auckland to Australia in rough conditions, it hit a reef at the northern end of Great Barrier Island and sank. Although many were rescued, 130 people died. It was not possible to contact Auckland for 3 days and this was one of the reasons for Great Barrier Island Pigeon Post. This stamp is from a sheet issued in 1994, the 100th Anniversary.

Very much in the style of the COGH Triangle stamps, this Cinderella was issued for the Historical Pageant of South Africa held in Capetown, October 1910.
Chris, Beryllium Guy , if you would like this stamp for your collection, just let me know and it's yours.

Woah, daniel, I was just admiring that last post, and I almost missed the note at the bottom! I don't recall having ever seen that stamp before now, but I would love to add it to my COGH triangle Cinderella label collection, which already has some other lovely items thanks to you.... yes, please! It would be my honour to accept such a kindly offered gift. Thank you very much, Daniel, I sincerely appreciate it!

Chris, Beryllium Guy , if you would like this stamp for your collection, just let me know and it's yours. Just wanted to give a shout out of thanks to Daniel for this stamp, which arrived in the post already! I am delighted to be able to include this with my Cape Triangle Cinderella and Stamp-on-Stamp Collection. At some point, I will gather that material together and make a post to show what I have accumulated. Thanks again for your kindness, Daniel, it is much appreciated!

Oh I see I am late for the birthday party. But still, happy birthday Triangles! But to be honest I have always been a little annoyed with triangle stamps, when I have come across them it has disturbed me that they take up too much "unnecessary" space... But I have had to swallow that as my drug collection needs them. Its 3 in the set but I save some space as I only show two.

The stamps of the souvenir sheet of the 1962 Anti-Malaria issue have different colours than those of the set.
The sheet also exists with the lower text-line omitted.
