This is the other study lot I purchased. The lot on eBay was substantially mis-identified as follows: "SLOVAKIA - LOT OF 3L1-3L3 BACK OF BOOK WITH VARITIES - ESTIMATE 200 STAMPS". The majority of the stamps are from Slovenia with only a smattering of stamps from Slovakia. I bought it looking for varieties, just like the title indicates. I am again going to depend on seller ignorance to see what I can find. I am betting mostly nothing but it will be fun to paw through nonetheless. Below is the photo from the eBay page. There are too many stamps to sort them out on to a couple of stock pages. The photo is only a representative sample.

Hmm, I spy a Czechoslovenia stamp in there, too. I read somewhere that postal workers in Europe have a hard time correctly routing mail to those two nations.
Those Slovenian "Breaking the Chains" stamps are a gas. Several recognized varieties, incredibly varied print quality (none of it especially great), postmarks from unexpected places, and one of the all-time phenomenal romantic-surrealist designs ever to grace a stamp. What's not to love?
