Inland Letter Cards with advertisements. They were issued in many variations. As I had a standing order with the Philatelic Service in Bombay, what included stationery,I received a lot of them.Duplications incl. several hundreds. I guess they will end one fine day in the "blue ash-can",that is for paper only.(refuse-recycling)

A last, quite unusual stationery: Cards for Parcel Post
inner side
It was to be folded in the middle and sealed with the flap on the right. I came together with a short wire to affixe it to the parcel. This one issued 1981.

Although I was aware of postal stationery and have some bits accumulated here and there in some of my country collections, I only recently have begun to add these postal gems to my thematic albums.
1989 Max Douguet Postal Stationery
1994 Max Douguet Postal Stationery
Image side for both of the Terres Australes et Antarctiques Françaises (TAAF) pre-paid post cards
So far, only those items where the 'indicia' contains a penguin have been included in the want/checklist and without any direct catalogue of other material focused on the topic, it is proving to be an entertaining challenge to find those pieces of postal stationery that qualify... Have fun and happy collecting!

Here's something I posted somewhere else on the forum a long time ago (2014, according to my picture folder info). It's an old and homely cover with an embossed Queen Victoria imprinted stamp on the envelope. And on the back of the envelope is a surprise - apparently Vicky went along on one of Mr. Toad's wild rides and she ended up all cattywampus, as my wife says ... upside down and in the ditch. Ryan

Following on the theme of postal stationery where the 'indicia' contains a penguin here is a recent addition to the collection,
Falkland Islands, issued 03 February 1994, surcharged to increase the value by 10 P and overprinted with a Christmas inscription featuring a King Penguin (Aptenodytes patagonicus)
If anyone has in their collection or comes across the same overprint, but on a piece from 'South Georgia', let me know, please...
Have fun and happy collecting!

Federation of the Cook Islands Postcard One Penny
The Cook Islands became a Federation in 1891 when Aitutaki was given to Kingdom of Rarotonga. In 1901 Aitutaki was given to New Zealand and the Federation part ended. I don't know who it was that was so easy going with Island giving and taking but it seems rather capricious to me 😀

As alluded to in this posting on the Whatcha Been Stamping? thread here, I have been updating my census of postal stationery where the indicum or pre-printed cachet contains the image of a penguin.
From the folio of China 2000 Antarctic postal cards and its a set of 12 cards issued by the State Postal Bureau, here is one of those that depicts the Chinstrap (Pygoscelis antarcticus) penguin,
In addition to this example of postal stationery issued by China Post, local postal administrations in other provinces and individual cities have also issued their own items; all valid and can be used truthfully.
Again, if anyone has links or pointers to better understand the differences between the different Postal authorities in contemporary China, please do share...
Have fun and happy collecting!
P.S. A BIG thank you to Linda ( Linda ) who has been most generous with her time and knowledge in providing translations for this set.

An attractive British group of unused Queen Elizabeth embossed stamped envelopes. The basic postage rate was 2½d from 1st May 1952, 3d from 1st October 1957 and 4d from 17th may 1965. I don't see a purpose for the 2d example.

They exist as Catalogue ES = Envelopes and Paper stamped to order The facility to have paper stamped with embossed dies to any required value was introduced in October 1855 and continued until 31st October 1973 Your 2d stamped envelopes would be included in this category.
