I received a rather nice set of stamps I recently won at auction for a very reasonable price. I'm particularly impressed by the 10c medallion on piece that it included!

So shock of the evening - on sorting through this lot, I found one of the 40c imperf medallions appears to be the elusive COB #5A, valued at €600.00! All in all, book value of this lot is well over €1500.00 - which of course means nothing in real world value terms, but is a nice little statistic...

nice Chris!! m(both #5 and the Malmedy) Here's my #5- I believe it is on thin paper... \and it does indeed have a hint of brown in the color (I thought I'd uploaded yesterday.... but guess not!)
