What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

This particular label was the last issued in Canada for Prisoner of War at the end of World War II. They were valid for postage in Canada on parcels up to 20 pounds for P.O.W.'s interned in Canada. It has a faint 1946 postmark. The Canada Unitrade number for this one is PWF6. Let us hope that these will not need to be reintroduced.

You need a new Cat. - you are referring to UNITRADE, I guess ?? My 2021 will turn into 2023 in December - I cancelled the 2022 - not that much changes for me as I am not a Modern collector, except a few items René

Congrats, these are not common. Postmark looks like P.O.W. (Camp) 23 Further to your comment the POW Camp 23, Monteith was a Canadian-run POW camp during World War II, located in Monteith, Iroquois Falls, Ontario. Before World War II, the camp was a lumber camp. The numbering system was not in order with some having numbers over 100 and there was around 25 different camps across the country.
