For awareness, Linn's is reporting that the Los Angeles Main Post Office had about 300 sealed panes for sale, having received the panes from most post offices in the Los Angeles area, San Diego, Oakland and Hawaii. To purchase panes, write to Los Angeles Main Post Office (Processing Plant) Special Events, 7001 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90052; call 323-586-1476 and ask for Brenda Coronado; or email Coronado (Brenda.L.coronado@usps.gov). Also, if you are in the Washington, DC area, the post office in the National Postal Museum still had panes for sale as of my visit last week.

As it happens, I am in the Washington, DC area as I write this reply to your post--how's that for the "small world" concept? Actually, I arrived about an hour ago in Washington-Dulles Airport from Phoenix, and I am awaiting a connecting flight to Frankfurt, Germany. I will be spending the next few weeks in Europe, trying my hand at consulting. We shall see how it goes.... If any TSF members need anything from Germany, just let me know, and I will do my best to help out.
