Hello everyone, Let me introduce who i am. I'm a french canadian who come back to stamps collection. 30 years ago, when i was 10, i collect stamps, especially scouting thematic (collection i lose with time, sadly) My come back to philately was motivated with my love for history, stamps are tiny history's book. My interest for now are mainly: - Canada participation to WW1 & WW2
- Canadian military history
- British empire military history
- British colonialism
- British royal family
- And others topics in canadian history
Also, i put a stamp of insulin discovery as profile picture, to give a thank to Frederick Banting, a canadian's physician who discover insulin. Because insulin give me the chance to stay alive.

philcaronb - Hi, a rather belated welcome from me too. Can appreciate and understand you desire to congratulate Banting - and in a similar vein we should be equally grateful to many such as Pasteur, Jenner and Fleming to name just a few - though there must be many more unsung heroes.
