The Stamp Forum group. Greetings from Scott F Smith from Denver Colorado USA. I am obviously a new member to the group. I recently saw a posting on the stamp forum about Canadian Test stamps coils. I have the same strips and the same questions about these very stamps. So was hoping to learn more.
My collecting interest currently are Dummy/Test Stamps from the USA and Canada, along with a smattering of other countries test stamps. I also am an avid collection off the Liberty series stamp series. Along with also collecting Self adhesive booklets from the USA and some from Around the world.
I have previously collected with earnest stamps from Palestine, Transjordan. I used to have a large collection of Plate Number Coils strips from the Transportation Series of Stamps. Also collected Precancel Coil stamps for a long time. Then until recently I had huge postal history collections of USA Antarctica, along with a large holding of Chinese Antarctic covers.
I always love to learn the history of the stamps that I currently collect. I also collect my stamps by tagging, paper types, Gum types, and florescence types.
I look forward to posting and reading more on the Stamp Forum.
Scotty

Welcome, Scotty, my friend! I'm glad I got in due time my items postmarked by you, Antarctic Postmaster at the South Pole! Did you really postmark some of them on a Christmas day, for me? That MPP could be used at will, in the (dis)comfort of the Antarctic base. Deep Freeze. Brrr!... Do you still collect orchids on stamps?
