Another question about plate blocks.
The APS Stamp Store didn't have any singles of this issue, but did have an upper right plate block of 12! 12? Good grief. I like Canada's way of plating so much more. Anyway, I can't bear to break this up, so it is staying intact on a page of its own. Does each colour have it's own plate, and did this stamp run through the printing process 6 times? I just don't understand the US way of plating! I noted in the basic Scott's that it comes with yellow omitted. I suppose with yellow hard to see, it would be easy to miss.

Each color has its own plate number, so the printers can identify which plate might be having an issue. Yellow omitted would be missing the yellow plate number.
