Azerbaijan (1991 Republic) Sc 350/SG 83 issued 1991. The modern Republic of Azerbaijan proclaimed its independence on August 30, 1991, shortly before the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the same year.  |

Scott mentiones in a footnote,that there are two printings on the 1919 issue: 0n thin white paper and and grayish paper. Michel is more detailed and lists the white paper issue as 1x-10x,issued in 1919,during the civic Azeri republic. The gayish/yellowish set,Mi.1y-10y was issued in 1920,when Azerbaijian already had become a soviet republic.
