Hello Portugal Collectors, I recently started collecting Portuguese stamps, and I'm looking for a hingeless album, with pre-printed pages to store them. I know there are options like the Davo, Lighthouse, Safe, etc. that have the image of the stamp, and not much else. I think those albums are a little bit boring. Here's an example of, what I would consider, a boring album page: I'm more interested in an album that would talk about each stamp, what it represents, adding some context to each page. I think Mystic does something pretty close to this for the U.S.: I did find some album/books called Portugal in Stamps (Portugal em Selos), made by CTT, with beautiful designs and loads of information. For example: The only problem I see with these book/albums is that you'd need a whole library to store them, as it's one book per year. Imagine if you'd like to collect the last 100 years of Portuguese stamps... The ideal would be an album composed of pages and a binder, hingeless, pre-printed, and with a beautiful design and information. Is there anything close to this for Portugal? Thank you very much in advance. Best regards, Eric

ericdrive Why not make your own pages. Several members do that and post the fruits of their labor for others to see and learn from. In fact there is a thread here about DIY pages.

Thank you for the suggestion. And that would be ideal. But I don't currently have the time for that. So, I'm looking for a product where someone else has spent the time and work. Hopefully one where a graphic designer, an expert philatelist and a historian were involved in creating (I know: I'm asking for too much). But, to wish is free of charge lol I will take a look at the DIY Album Pages thread. Thank you again! Eric

ericdrive I think you will not find a album that suits you 100%. Therefore I will say as JeffS make you own album. But as you say you don't have time to do that. Them I would go for a nice stock book or a Vario binder to collect and set up your stamps until you get time to DIY.

If one wants to create their own, AlbumEasy has a file for Portugal. This can be used to customize to your own preferences.
