I have a 1 Rupee O22 Asokan Capital stamp that I am trying to identify. It is either pre decimalisation (1950 on) or Post decimalisation (1957 on) but I can't tell which. The former is Violet and the latter Reddish-Violet but without the two side by side I don't know which I have.
The watermark is multiple 5 pointed stars but I can't seem to find any guidance on this anywhere.
The assistance of someone more knowledgeable than me (and that must be many people!!) would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Paul
