It’s time to start writing your letters to Santa! What are you asking for - philatelically speaking only - we all want world peace, eh? Hmmmmm let’s see. I don’t want to ask for the moon, ummm - OK …

Sear Santa,
I have been a good collector this year. I have stayed within my budget most times when making new purchases. I would like a #1 Nova Scotia please. If that is not possible, a #2,3, or 4 would work.

I will stick with the traditional world peace. Well, isn't that represented by a dove? In which case, Santa, I think a Basel dove will do the trick.

I'll make this easy, one of each color variant for France #2 and I'll return Rudoph unharmed!

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Dear Santa, Being totally honest I have blown my budget out of the water this year....I have been really bad. With that in mind I will be totally happy with a coal scuttle full of unsorted pre 1965 world wide stamps. That should keep me busy sorting and out of trouble for a few months.

I do not know about hdm1950 ' s budget but I have mine and with so many stamps to check - not time to buy - later maybe You have to control your stamp expenses..........in 2 weeks, both wife and I have $15,000 of dentist work - that would be a nice stamp ......and that is part of a retirement budget (unless you do not need one LOL).....for those who do not need the POWERBALL (USA) LOL For TSF members.....I wish HEALTH !!!! My equivalent of 'The Sears Christmas Wish Book' arrived in the post this week,
The Clube Filatélico de Portugal auction catalogue has close to 300 pages and over 3.000 lotes available, with plenty of “ coroas, cruzes e provas” to make a substantial wish list. On a cursory look, I already see a few items of interest and a bid or two :-)
Like Sear’s Christmas Wish Book though, it will take some time to go through...
Have fun and happy collecting!

I have enough stamps to keep me busy for a while, if I can ever sit down and work on them.
Please Santa, I'd like a new spine. Thanks eh!

Esteemed Mr. Claus:
I presume, sir, that you won't be needing those elves or dwarves or whatever they are early next year, so why don't you dump them off with me for a couple of months and they can PureCitrusize my self-adhesive stamps and dunk my older stamps in water and press them. They can also take stamps off of album pages. I'll buy them a used truck and jack it up onto concrete blocks so they can have a place to live in my front yard, and I'll stock up on gruel for them. And firewood, if I can get some for free. When they're done, you can have them back. The dwarves, I mean. Not the truck. You can have the dwarves back.
I trust that this proposal will meet your consideration.
With my best regards,
Mr. Eggdog
PS A couple stacks of $20's would come in handy, too. And that Zeppelin stamp from Egypt. It's very light.

A pack of decent hinges. That's all, just one pack of decent hinges, the kind that pull off easily and don't leave marks or thin spots and don't curl up into bucky-balls when the weather is humid. That's all I need for Christmas, Old Man, just one lousy pack. How hard can it be?

Dear Santa,
I have been fortunate enough to be able to afford a lot of my stamp wants. I kinda stayed in budget. Is there such a thing as being “kinda” good or “kinda” naughty?!😆 If your elves have the time and resources (and inclination), there’s those die proofs - one red and one green (note the Christmas theme!😉) - for Canada’s stamp #334 on ebay. Thank-you for your kind consideration.
Yours sincerely, Kinda naughty, kinda nice
(Hey, if you don’t ask big, you’ll never get it!😂)

Dear Santa - actually I have more stamps and covers than I can deal with in whatever time I have left. So why not just bring my friends here on TSB a couple extra hours a week to pursue their stamp hobby.

Dear Santa, I don't want anything for myself. But instead, please grant the Christmas wishes of all our members here at TSF, especially those who have posted above and whose list you know already. Plus, a special something for all those who wrote for the Newsletter and those who will in the future. Thanks you Santa, Londonbus1. P.S. I will leave you a nice glass of sherry and some marzipan chocolates by the Christmas tree should you happen to find a 1963 Stampex Sheet signed by Pietro Annigoni......Oops!!

A block of inverted Jennys would be very nice. Or if he's feeling tapped out, does Santa remember Marie Kondo? She descended to systematize all the unappreciated gifts he brought the year before. As I recall, she specialized in socks, cosmetics and frightening piles of pullovers. APS could've made her a mascot.
If so, would Santa be so kind as to organize all my Back of the book/unneeded/unwanted/uncomprehended in dedicated albums, in catalogue order so I can better figure what to do with the stuff?
Alternatively, Santa might shift this to What stamp project have you most procrastinated finishing? As in, same sad difference.

Dear Santa,
I have been a good, hard working boy this year. I’d like you to bring me some of the Colombians and Pan American series stamps I still don’t have. Wouldn’t mind any other pre-1920 stamps I don’t have. There’s a lot of them. Thank you! I’ll leave out for you some of my wife’s cookies.

Dear Santa, I have mostly stayed with in my budget this year. For being so good (lol) this year I would like just one copy of each C15, 243, 244, 245, 292 and 293 and if you think I have been real good a #2 would be awesome too. That would complete my set of zeppelins, Columbians and Trans-Mississippi except for the space fillers but I will take care of the space fillers later. Carabop
