It's one of the many reasons I love this stamp .... Just curious what would be a reasonable price tag to throw on it if I decide to go down that path.... I personally couldn't find any info on this stamp, so no homework been done whatsoever ...

It is Revenue , not postage . Translates as income tax.

cool! I knew it wasn't postage, but I didn't know what it was exactly .... otherwise imagine it would have been one massive bill for posting .... Thank you Matei

While the German hyperinflation face values are quite high, they still can't match the numerical heights of the Hungarian hyperinflation issues after the end of WWII. I believe those are some of the highest face value postage stamps, if not the highest. Below is a page from my Hungary collection. The last stamp in the last set is highest face value stamp I know of (or at least, that I possess). Note that the European system at that time differs from the system we use in the US: millio = million = 1,000,000 milliard = billion = 1,000,000,000 billio = trillion = 1,000,000,000,000 The last stamp on the page, Scott Hungary #774(1946) has a face value of 500,000 billio-pengo, which in the US system is: 500,000 trillion pengos, or 500 quadrillion pengos, or 500,000,000,000,000,000 pengos Note, all the stamps on that page, Scott Hungary #746-774(1946), despite their extraordinarily high face values, are basically minimum catalog value stamps today! Afterwards, Hungarian stamps were briefly issued in adópengő, replacing and revaluing the pengő, until both were replaced by the forint on 1Aug1946. The exchange rate at that time: 1 forint = 200,000 adópengő = 400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 pengő I may have gotten carpal tunnel from typing in all those zeros! k
