I don't normally pay much attention to the modern stuff but I do have them. I finally found the last one I needed to complete the entire set! These are harder to find used than mint for some reason but my diligence finally paid off! My Prominent Americans set - From my postally used collection.

You're right about tougher to find used than mint. As a rule I collect commems and souvenir sheets mint and SS singles and definitives used. Hey, we all have out plan of attack collecting wise, right? Nice pages...

Scott 1299 - but the top line coils look different from the bottom. Forgeries? Any thoughts?

Maybe they took a "sunbreak" in Mexico, or some shade of the stamps, or a "rare variant of color"

Either faded by soaking in slightly bleaching water or sun exposure. You'll note that even the cancels are nearly gone, even though those 2 cancels are very prominently placed.

Agree with Kim, Light or Chemical damage. All your examples are "Joint line coils" Czech green pigment lost to grey (similar degradation)

My thoughts also - still interesting to keep with the others. Thanks for the replies.
