So I pulled this out of my BigBlue Part I #2 (bought to pull stamps needed in my BB Part I #1) and tried to find a catalogue number but came up blank.
Below are images of front, back and one that is faceup on a light box. Watermark is clear and looks like watermark 132 used in the 1880s and 90s. But I don't see a 1K yellow in Scott.
What am I missing? Also this appears imperf and I can't see that Scott lists any Hungarian imperfs.

Scott Hungary P4a(1881) lemon yellow color variety of newspaper stamp, less common than the normal orange color (what Scott lists as "orange" for the 1k stamp is actually more red orange than orange).

Thanks for that. Did you find that in Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue Vol.3B?

Scott does not address perforations for P4a. The first listings for newspaper stamps, P1 & P2, are specifically listed as imperf. From the illustration, it appears that P3, P4 and P5 also are imperf. Also, it says the watermark is 132.

Scott convention is that the listing header applies to all subsequent listings, until otherwise changed. It's annoying and inconvenient, but I'll concede it does save a lot of space/ink. But I do hate back-tracking to find out whether a stamp was gummed or issued without gum, watermarked or unwatermarked...
Of course, Scott is inconsistent about applying this. You'll see long runs of listings where the watermark, perforation, printing method... are repeated for each listing.
