As the thread's subject suggests, my "go to" source for stamp/cinderella identification has let me down on these items. The image of who I assume to be Holy Roman Emporer Maximilian I (1459-1519) on these stamps appears to have derived from the Albrecht Dürer portrait. Any background that can be provided will be appreciated.

Hi Steve Admin, The logo looks like a mock up of Durer’s signature and I read it as “KA BE “A brand of German Stamp Albums. May be a red herring or lead to something .

There's this really great forum out there called The Stamp Forum, see here from LB1. I'm not even going to draw your attention to a like from tomiseksj , it was 6½ years ago Daniel

Thank you to both vikingeck and daniel for helping me with this identification. As to my forgeting that I had seen these items before in Londonbus1 's related post back in 2017, I can only offer that I'm old and forgetfullness comes with the territory. Also, if only that great forum had an image search function I might have been able to answer my own question. However, I believe that my quest and the information provided by Alex's ebay image have allowed me to clear up LB1's "confusion" regarding the label with the kiss on the cheek. As I now understand, KABE's double album allows for collecting both mint and used so the "kiss" is likely intended to represent a "cancellation." Without objection, I'd like to merge all the posts from this thread into LB1's 2017 thread.

Without objection, I'd like to merge all the posts from this thread into LB1's 2017 thread. And perhaps change the heading to properly identify 'Google' as the search function used :-) Dave

Don't feel bad tomiseksj. Getting old graceful needs to be our goal. If we slip a few cogs now and then we are still good to go. These are supposed to be our golden years but it seems to take a lot of gold to survive the retired years living on a very limited amount of money. Keep the faith and enjoy the hits not the slips.
