I am thinking of subscribing to the digital edition of Linn's Stamp News, but as I have never read a copy I don't really know what to expect. My primary reason for subscribing is thanks to angore who mentioned in another thread that the Oct 2nd issue includes an article discussing AlbumEasy, ImageSleuth and my website which I would like to read. I have always assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that the primary focus of Linn's is on US collecting and as my collecting interests lie elsewhere I am wondering if it would be worth my while to subscribe. Comments please, Thanks, Clive

I did look trough the free sample issue. There was a lot of advertising, a lot... And the main articles did cover US stuff. As a non US collector I will not subscribe, but the format was ok. The subscription price I think was ok.

I have been a subscriber to the monthly issue of Linn's (now called Scott Stamp Monthly) for a couple years now. My subscription also includes the weekly issues in digital format. The weekly issues do tend to be more US-focused, but I do enjoy the monthly issues because there are articles on topics of interest to a worldwide collector. To me, it's worth the one time a year cost.

I subscribe to Linn's. I find the weeklies a fairly quick read. The SSM has more value.

Ps. The library in Regina used to carry the paper edition of Linns, and I'd flip through 5-6 editions in an hour. I'd read Kitchen Table Philately (review of a mail order mixture), the literature review, and the classified ads. 🙂

Well at the very least a heads up that an article has been published, if it wasn't for Al bringing it to my attention I would have never known.

One of the subscribers here could send it to you.
I used to subscribe, but switched to GBPS.
