Among my auction wins this month, this nice specimen of the 3 DM monument issue from the Allied Occupation Zone in 1947, with the "short flight of stairs" variety:

hrdoktorx, nice specimen. This series of "Bauten" stamps were printed by Bagel and Wastermann. There are two types of stamps with Mark values: type I - without vertical lines and with 4 steps. Type II - with vertical lines and 7 steps (see red arrows) Your stamp is subtype Ia - 3 steps.
