Does anyone know about this scratch on Scott 43, ACSC 36? It's in the Gulf of Carpintaria, but I can't find it in my ACSC books, nor on other websites that purport to track these varieties.

Checking, for clarity. 1. If ACSC #36 Must be second watermark (Type 2) (Die ll) (Light Brown) ? 2. There are no specialists monographs, with study of the 2/- Roo ?
In both my (sadly early) editions of ACSC no mention of flaws in the Gulf.
In the 2/- Maroon roo, there are several flaws in the Gulf.

Yes, the second watermark, light brown. No later flaws in the maroon match this, in my opinion. Still a mystery.
