Would anyone care to hazard an opinion on whether this stamp has been reperforated? If it not it is a scott #413 as it is a SLW and a type I. Thanks in advance for looking. Theron.

I don't know much about Washington/Franklin's but as far as the funky cut on that, I'd say it is probably from the vending machine it came out of. I've seen some really bad vending machine cuts on coils. I'm sure someone with more experience and knowledge will way in however.

Theron, other than being somewhat mangled I don't see anything wrong with it.
As far as being reperforated there are a lot of different ways of looking for that. The hardest and first thing one needs is something that punches convincing holes. If that stamp had been reperforated, then the perpetrator had that item. Putting them in a straight row is easy and so is spacing, think perf gauge. So assuming all that on the evidence why in the world would he not utilize the ample real estate on the left side of the stamp better?
And what Richard said!
