I am still going through a huge lot and came across this. Scott #C84 but no mention of imperf. I do not have Yvert so not specialized in this area. I wonder if it is a proof?
Scott value is pretty high on the perforated stamps MNH.

Scott value is pretty high on the perforated stamps MNH. Personal opinion. Without any reference to the contrary, I would regard this as "Printer's waste" (Still collectable) I have come across lots of Chad "Illegals" but not printer's waste.

I have one of those imperforates too, it came with a job lot of Cinderellas. It isn't listed in Stanley Gibbons either. However, a seller on eBay has multiple copies selling at $11.96 each. Other sellers have them for £66 and £132.84 for pairs and another seller has a single for £3.96. Make what you will of that ! Daniel

These are perfectly legitimate items. France and most of the colonial nations had a long tradition of accompanying most issues with imperforate presentation stamps. Generally, they were never postally valid or sold over the counter, so of course they are not listed in Scott. Quantities are much, much lower than the issued stamps. In Scott there is a brief note in the mid 1950s for each colony that did this. I have presented some of my New Caledonia imperfs elsewhere in the boards.
