I thought that I would start a new thread for this type of postcard. Starting with three examples produced by different publishers. An embossed example from Artist Atelier H Guggenheim & Co. Zurich depicting Grindelwald and Swiss stamps and a Swiss red cross shield and post horn with a floral laurel. The second card from P Lébolo of Barranquilla, Colombia depicts an embossed shield and flags of Colombia and sstamps. The third card is for Denmark with coat of arms and stamps and a photograph of Silkeborg and Himmelbjerget. Produced by VMK of Denmark.

Nice cards daniel ! I will look to see if I have any to add. The card of Grindewald brought back fond memories of my time as an 18 year-old Commis Chef at a Hotel on Lake Brienz. I had two days off and hiked from the Hotel over the mountain range behind it to the First Mountain, which can be seen on your card. Then I got a free chairlift ride down into Grindelwald. A lovely memory brought to life by The Stamp Forum !!! I'm pretty sure the chairlift did not exist at the time of your card ! Londonbus1 Update: The Chairlift opened in 1947 and (sadly) closed in 1991.

The firm of Ottmar Zeiher between 1905-1914 produced a series of more than 100 country postcards with stamp issues in a style similar to the Danish above.

I was lucky enough to pay £30 for a job lot of 22 cards from various publishers Hmph ! I doubt very much, luck had anything to do with it. Finding bargains involves deep knowledge of the discipline, research skill, patience courage, confidence in pricing, and a good sniping program. I bid as, at the time Turkey was my primary focus. I also got a bop on the nose, when I bid for what I thought was a rare Turkey mini sheet, I paid $85 + ship, and what turned out to be a worthless phantasy. "deep knowledge of the discipline" was lacking. PS: I think (pre covid) Prices for Zieher Cards were around $15 US each retail.

Hi franoise, I have seen similar cards to these, are they smaller than post card? The ones I have were advert cards for Liebig meat extract on the reverse.
