In my opinion, this envelope is a Postal Stationery:
it has a printed pseudo stamp it has a face value 1 Postage Paid It is used for sending
I believe it has all the characteristics to be collected as a Postal Stationery.
If anything, the only thing is that I don't think it can be used by private individuals and various collectors, but can only be used by Guernsey Post for commercial philatelic proposals.
What do you think? Postal Stationery or not?
Thank you

Postal Stationery or not? Thank you lucianoOpinion: I would not have it as Postal Stationery Perhaps Guernsey Post Indicia. Postal Stationery : Envelopes, Air Letters, Postal Cards, Aerogrammes, etc that have government imprinted or embossed stamps. Guernsey Post is an agent for Royal mail Yours is still collectable, but not strictly Postal Stationery I doubt you will find it listed anywhere. That said, you are free to call them what you will, depends if you wish to follow most used formats. If you need further collaboration, email the Postal Stationery Society, and ask where it may be listed. I collect similar, including postal glassines and indicia produced by Australia Post Broadcast examples, still exist in print for the closet indicia collector tragics, by the Cinderella Club of Australia

Agree with rod222, I would also refer to them as postal indicia rather than postal stationery. I believe (open to correction), Guernsey Post officially calls them Postage Paid Impressions.

Note: from sundry society's online advice NONE seem to define, what is postal stationery The Australian link defaults to online orchids. So, we default to wiki, whom suggest "free post" from businesses are not considered postal stationery Postal stationery includes NVI postal envelopes.

What's interesting in the example, is that Guernsey Post itself seems to using them to mail things out (assume it's philatelic products, maybe from subscription service?). It looks like Guernsey Post is Serial No. 100 (I assume they start with 3-digit 100 instead of 1). Different businesses will get assigned different serial numbers for accounting purposes, just like with postal indicia of some other countries.

I agree Kim, Australia Post does the same thing, one can pre order new issues, and are automatically sent their orders. Here is Guernsey ephemera from a colleague of mine in Belarus I believe he pre orders anything Olympic. Such customers are given a "customer number" and mail used in tandem with window envelopes.
