Here is a WWII censor cover from Lagos, Nigeria to London dated 23 Sep 1941. I am not familiar with the specific censor stamp. It does seem to be pretty plain.

This cover went from Sapele, Nigeria to Weybridge, dated 7 Nov 1942. I wonder if whomever wrote the address was a Calligrapher! The stamp was placed on the back and, in effect, sealed the flap - possibly to prevent someone from steaming open the letter? If the semi-circular "cancel" on the front is a censor cancel, it is even more plain than the one on the above envelope!

Cover : Nigeria to US A few queries 1. Would this be a "duplex" Postage due impression? 2. If not, would the New York strike, be considered a "skeleton" Postmark? 3. Where, if any, would this be listed in a catalogue, I have Scott specialised, would it be in there perhaps? Thanks.
