1924 Overprints. Steiner page 16 These were the last Postage stamps of Fiume, thence superseded by Stamps of Italy. Note : The overprint evidences the allegorical knot that represents the unity of Italy. Italy's other allegory is the Star.

real or forgeries? the non overprint gum is "too perfect" and the overprint incredibly sloppy. On the back page of a France accumulation I received- just these two

On the back page of a France accumulation I received- just these two The 1919 looks like a Grayish Brown perf 11.5 Overall it looks fine - one forgery is very crude and the other one I know of is also rough and the star is badly shaped The 1919 Provisional also looks ok and is probably a type II The overprint often looks bad

Thanks marking much appreciated. Not a region I collect, but I was curious. Are these common stamps?

I want to sell some of my Fiume stamps. I have the Scott catalog from 2009 and my stamp is Scott#158: I looked on ebay to see what the current value is and to my surprise I saw the stamp with the additional overprint 1922 with no.Scott#158. In my 2009 catalog this is Scott#170. Have the Scott numbers changed? A recent value for my stamp would also be helpful.

At least Fiume Scott # 160 was and still is # 160: Colnect also continues to use the catalog numbers known from Scott 2009.
Without accusing anyone of malice, the imprint "1922", which clearly reduces the value, sometimes seems to be "overlooked". That this can even happen to experts is astonishing to say the least.
On HIP-Stamps you can find an identical offer for this (possibly only alleged) # 158 at 90 $ (identical certificate number).

Thank you rednaxela . I don't know how someone can make a mistake and not see the 1922 overprint. In my catalog the value is US$80 and the sale prices of 85 and 90 caught my attention - they seem obviously absurd to me. What is the recent catalog value of Scott#158?...is it still 80?

That was Scott #170 (1922) now $4 My more recent info is now Sc#158 at around $100 - $130

Thank you, rod222I noticed that for stamps in the US$ 50-100 category, the increase from 2009 until now is 40-60%. I hope I'm not mistaken.

What is the recent catalog value of Scott#158?...is it still 80? APS has just confirmed to me that a mistake has indeed been made: the certified stamp is undoubtedly Fiume Scott # 170 and not # 158. The APS online certificate archive now refers to the correct facts (# 170) for the certificate in question.

rednaxela, initially I thought the certificate was fake. How can I access the APS certificate archive online? Only APS members have access?
