Thanks again, Rod. I thought Se tenants had to be two of the exact same stamp. Shows how much I know.

Correct, this particular se-tenant pair came from a booklet pane, as did any other Wilding se-tenant pairs you might see. Note that for the Machin series, however, some of these combinations of different values actually came from coils - these are commonly known as "multi-value coils". TSF member vggvp has authored a summary of these odd things. There are other examples of se-tenant coils but all of them that I can think of have the same face values (for example, the recent US state flag coils, 10 different designs in a row on a coil but all the same letter-rate face value). Shows how much I know. ... and that's the joy of learning never be ashamed of making a mistake, I thought that very thing, a few years ago. now you can get, se-tenant inverted, se-tenant block, se-tenant vertical, se-tenant horizontal, se-tenant gutter pair (blank piece in between) and on it goes I have made some absolute clangers, DUE on an Italian stamp, I thought was a postage due, not the value. The fabric of life.
