Couple of nice Minisheets on FDC's. It looks like they try to match the cachet, stamp and postmark.

A couple of First Day Covers from after WWII. Are there many collectors for these earlier FDC's as in the Canada FDC's? Anniversary of the Prague revolution Railroads linking Czech, Bohemia and Moravia

Hope this is the right place to put these from the Czech Field Post Office in WW2. Both use GB stamps but the postmark says it all.

I collect them, but I collect images only, Collecting covers for a Worldwide Collector, is a nightmare. Most of my covers I scan, then pass them on to ebay. I would keep the Field Post Office covers, nice stuff. There will always be the odd one that commands a spectacular price, but that is for the country specialists. I keep the odd cover, early Australia, US "Cachet Craft" etc

1952. Airmail letter from Prague to Jerusalem. Postmarked in Prague on 21 March 1957. Arrival backstamp in Jerusalem on 29 March 1957. At least, I assume it is March. The digit doesn't look like a 3 to me, but I am not sure what it is. Stamps: 1954 Miner (part of Occupations series, Scott 654), 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics (Scott 749).

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Here is another cover stuck between pages in one of my world wide albums. This is a large one from the 1938 Prague Philatelic Exhibition featuring the souvenir sheet issued for the event. I do have a mint copy of the sheet as well.

Czechoslovakia was created on October 1918 and Austrian stamps and cards could be used until the end of February ,1919. This is a provisional card ,dated 11 April 1919 with an overprint. The postmark is from Dauba, now Duba in the Czech Republic The card was sent from a Colonial goods and fertilizer company to Diana Franzbrantwein Producers in Vienna.According to Wikipedia, this is some kind of alcoholic linament and the company is still in existence today.

Prague-Zurich-Marseilles Received as part of a small job lot of postcards depicting stamps, this particular postcard turns to be rather interesting. Firstly, an Alphonse Mucha designed newspaper stamp overprinted O.T., for Obchodni Tiskvina meaning Business Printing, indicating that the stamps could be used for commercial purposes (SG N332 10h lilac). The first flight from Prague to Marseilles via Zurich took place on 15th May 1935 and the first Marseilles to Prague flight took place the following day, the date on this card. Probably, then, this is just a souvenir card rather than a flown card. With a special postmark for Prague dated 16th May 1935.

Does not seem to be a "Zieher Card" the printing colours looks light. (Not seen one before, with ZANZIBAR ) Latest Number I have seen is SOMALI COAST No 75 Scott # P14 N1 10h dull violet (IMPERF and presumably, privately perfed )

rod222, I purchased a lot 20 of these postcards depicting stamps. The Zanzibar card above is indeed an Otto Zieher card but the details are printed very faintly on the left, it is no. 66. I have 5 other Zieher cards, one of which is numbered 86, British Guiana. I have 5 from Menke-Huber, Zurich and 3 from Emil Enke, Leipzig. Daniel
