Here is (to me) a re-entry with obvious doubling of top frame line. Also the second stamp a mis-perf shows a good portion of next stamp

Sorry was a piece of debris on scanner bed.I still find dog fur from Cupid who I buried over a year ago. My daughter still finds his fur on occasion in Boston among her things. That debris was probably from my cookie, shouldn't be eating them.I'm trying hard to keep the twenty pounds off, down to 190 almost back to trim.Target is 180.

Rod, widow's weeds refers to Her Majesty's outfit. She was still in mourning for her beloved Albert, and these were the first Canadian stamps to show her in a current light. Up until these were issued in 1893 she was always portrayed and the beautiful young Queen.

Here's a follow up to this one some months later regarding Rods question about widows weeds. Just stumbled on this definition elsewhere on the web, and thought about this thread.
“widow’s weeds” (from the Old English waed, meaning “garment”)
