i just missed an auction for a small lot of these. nice to see them laid out!!! (first page) The first and 2nd page are actually of the same set, just didn't have room to put them all on the same page. Same thing with the 3rd and 4th page. Here is a link to an excellent source for these. They can get quite involved, probably much more than I have a need for right now. www.mafitt.hu/kepek/bemutatok/royalen/index.html

salentin Thanks- they were sold as Austrian (very low cost)- I have nothing to compare to Admin- if you could move that post to the appropriate location (and I'll go move from one binder to another)

Barefoot has both an Austria and a Hungary catalogue. The Austria is new and in color, the Hungary being a bit older and still black and white. Shipping is pretty reasonable to the US, especially if you find a couple things each time you order, to spread the shipping across a few items. New editions appear with some regularity.

They are available on e-bay
all ship from Europe and shipping is ~$60 (more than the book)
that's a hard one to justify
one of these days .... maybe

Buying straight from dealers in Europe, some will work with you on the shipping for books/catalogs. You won't get that buying from individuals off eBay.
Past 5 years, I've purchased boxes of 5+ medium-sized catalogs (a few hundred pages each, roughly 6"x9" size) shipped to US for $10 or less (one by postal service, one by DHL) from Turkey and Greece. That's even cheaper than if I shipped it domestic!
I contact them directly (sometimes they have online chat). I noticed many correspond in English quite well! I simply ask them what is the cheapest shipping available if I don't care how long it takes. The DHL took about 1 week from Greece, and only $10 for complete 5-volume set of Hellas catalogs.
Amos doesn't do this anymore, but back when would clear out older year complete sets, they also only charged me $10 for shipping entire 6-volume Scott by FedEx!!!
If you are a cheapskate like me, and not only insist on dirt-cheap product pricing and dirt-cheap shipping, it is really worth the additional effort to directly contact dealers/suppliers.
Same applies for used bookstores in UK. I've cut down a lot on book-buying past 2 years, but I would purchase used books/catalogs from UK bookstores for under $5 shipping included! I'm not sure how they are doing it. It does take 2-4 weeks, but except for one package that arrived 2 months later, everything from UK has arrived within 1 month.

I have sent a message to seller to see if there's a less expensive shipping method.
The two books I purchased from Barefoot were ~$15 to ship. and my most recent Yvert & Tellier France was about the same and it's a good size book
but as some folks seem willing to pay that shipping amopunt my request not get much sympathy

A Hungarian Medical Diploma from The Royal Science University of Hungary issued on 8th May 1915 to Alexius Oscarus Raichl. A very large document on parchment and written in Latin. With a Hungarian revenue stamp top left dated 1914. Impossible to scan, so I had to use my mobile. Since it is on parchment it wouldn't fold out easily. Has a beautiful wax seal attached enclosed in a wooden box. Purchased from a charity shop quite cheaply.
