Back in the 90's, when I was going through the stamps my friend Owens had given me, I found a small cigar box of loose stamps. Even though he has basically quit collecting in his early teens, he would still throw interesting stamps into boxes throughout the years.
Well, upon opening that cigar box, I saw this beauty and immediately blurted out "Oh, Cool!!!". Then, when I reached to take it out of the box, I had the "Aw, Nuts!!!" moment.
Beautiful stamp. Thrown mint, into a box and left there for many many years. Yep....it was stuck.
Ever have one of these moments when you snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory?
Here it is:

Try putting it in the freezer. That sometimes works ... You will be no worse off if it doesn't. it seems to have some dark marks on the back , postmark offset perhaps or earlier adherence

That's a shame, because that's a beauty of a stamp. I bit off-center, but still a beauty. Hopefully the freezer will free it from the others. At least it's on the top, and not stuck in the middle of that pile of stamps.

Wouldn't "stamlift" work for this beauty but under controlled time and attention as the gum has to be preserved !
