There is plenty of reading material out there and we certainly cannot be expected to see or know everything that is published.
This thread is to post those items that caught your eye and made for an enjoyable read, e.g. on-line article, blog posting or even a TSF Newsletter article. As you come across an article or thread that you found of interest and think others might be interested as well (no matter, how esoteric), please feel free to share here.
Sharing is caring and knowledge cannot be taken away...
Enjoy the reading!

Not only are the stamps of interest, beautiful in their own right, but what a great story!
Who would not want to find a gem of a stamp, long forgotten in a mixture, mounted on a simple album page, or patiently waiting in a glassine envelope?
Not only is the article a good bit of lunch time reading, but also provides an excuse or opporunity for a moment of distraction...
Enjoy the read and happy collecting!

In addition to the remarkable art life of Anna Banana, if anyone has additional information or details on the 'Rosbak pinhole perforator' (shown), I know, I for one, would be interested in knowing more...
Happy collecting!

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"- United States Postal Service creed
It is just that some times the letter takes a little longer than expected as in this recent story,
Albeit in Dutch, enjoy the read...

Whilst passing away a quite morning enjoying the threads of the Canadian Jubilee issues, French lessons, along with updates of Stamp Club meetings here on TSF, I was reminded of Yves Drolet's blog that has some interesting articles - " ACADÉMIE QUÉBÉCOISE D’ÉTUDES PHILATÉLIQUES"
Enjoy the read and...
Happy collecting!
P.S. The article, ' Les timbres d’Antarctique' made for some quick and interesting reading; at the same time. it sure beat doing the laundry ;-)

Perhaps it's the fact that I'm not Italian, but having tried the link - and translated to English - have to say that I'm no wiser as to the real reason why this stamp is now withdrawn. Euphemism and jargon look to be hiding plain talk - can someone, in a couple of sentences explain please? :-)

I'm afraid the text is not written in Italian but in Portuguese. It refers that the Vatican stamp, looks very much like another from the fascist Portuguese regime (up to 1974) or Stado Novo (new regime) showing the monument to that country discoveries' with prince Enrique el Navegante (Henry the Sailor, XV century) leading the nation to the empire. It seems that the Portuguese Catholic Church is not happy at all with the colonialist implications of the design. At least it's what I understood of the reading. I've never studied Portuguese, but being a native speaker of a Latin language (Catalan) and speaking another three ones (French, Italian and Spanish), I can understand about 80-90% of a Portuguese text. Off course I might be wrong.
