A while ago I bought a collection of telegraph stamps from a friend. These are identified as an issue of telegraph stamps of Belgium from 1891. I am not sure if that is accurate.

smauggie according to COB these are "First bilingual stamp. Leopold II with or without strain (on the stump)" (souche translates (Google) to strain, but also translates as stump, basically a rather large version of the 'do not deliver on Saturday"' on later 1891 -1920 regular issues Issued/ release from 1891 - 1899 Your stamps would be Yvert TE21 - TE28 and this is the full series CV (2019 COB) MH $25 Euro's Nice stamps , i only have the 1880 hexagon issues * Admin this should maybe be moved over to Belgium [DONE]

I don't have very many of the hexagons, but I like them quite a bit.

From the Kingdom of Belgium Board of Telegraphs and Telephones, a very attractive telegram. French version, hand written.

These stamps you've got here aren't actual telepraph stamps, but telephone stamps... They were used to pay for phone calls... It's the 1891 series without tab, a few of them were issued later than that (1892, 1896 and 1899). The tab was quite big and was the proof of payment... they go for 25 euro's used or unused-hinged, and 70 euro mint never hinged... (cob 2022)
