A poignant Cover involving the 7th Cavalry. John Hily was one John Stuart Stuart Forbes Born Rugby England, then of New Zealand Former Occupation Clerk.

I have mixed feelings with these images, fascinating, yet disturbing. The indigenous dress was so beautiful. "White man runs him" One of General Custer's Scouts. and later on in life, obviously posed, on a postcard, signed by a thumbprint. (I cannot acknowledge the postcard, the US gentleman was a member of RASD many years ago, and I cannot recall his name)

Interesting, I don't think I've ever seen a souvenir card signed using a thumbprint.
