South Moluccas - Republik Maluku Selatan(it appears these were privately issued and had no postal use) - and I have so many more that I will spare you - it just happened that the owner of the extra 20-25 binders (some have been the subject of giveaways) had a pretty good assortment of these stamps, all postally not used etc.

Lithuania, June 22th 1991. "Fatal June". Refering to the date (June 22nd 1941) when just after the German Third Reich invaded the USSR (on the 20th), the soviets, in retailation, took measures against Lithuanian patriots.
Deportation and matyrdom.
50 years of resistance.

"Back again with the old originals, the fourth value in the series of CAPE OF GOOD HOPE is the ONE SHILLING green" Wow Alex, Thank you for sharing your Cape Triangles. They've been my favorite entries in the Triangle Birthday overall (AND the reason Chris even invented the thread). Very impressive, I've never owned any but I've admired them for decades. They are iconic among the Classics.

I beleive that no celebration of Triangle stamps would be complete without the Union of South Africa stamps issued in 1953 to mark the Centenary of the Cape Triangular. However, as images of Triangle stamps on regular stamps might not be completely in the spirit of this thread,
I have also included the 1926 Union of South Africa 4d values. These were printed in sheets that were inscribed in either English or Afrikaans unlike most Union stamps of that period which were printed in Se-tenant bilingual pairs.

Clive These 1926 ers were on file to be shown in a day or two Clive, so you beat me to it. I am very fond of them as they so accuratelyand faithfully repeat the stamps of the CoGH

Chrischross,
Thank you for sharing your Somali triangles. I mentioned in a note to Beryllium Guy this morning that it would be wonderful if someone posted some Djibouti Triangles.
Rob Yes indeed the third one ,with the socked on the nose blue cancel , is a joy and a cracker! it always amuses me that they printed on mock perforation lines on imperf stamps! Thanks for the kind words from the both of you! Now if we could only get some iconic Tannu Tuva triangles.... :-)

I have been really enjoying this tribute to the triangle, whatever practical difficulties they may pose! chrischross said: Right you are, Chris, and I wish I could say that I had my Tannu Tuva stamps with me at the moment, but alas, I do not.... Hopefully, another member can come to the rescue. I would also just like to take this opportunity to thank all members who have supported this thread. The outpouring of participation has been just great. It is more than I expected, but I couldn't be more pleased. So many great tributes to the triangle! And yes, Aaron ( kasvik ), I think that bisects certainly qualify, as already supported by Jon ( blaamand ) with his own contribution. By the way, I love that DWI bisect. I have a soft spot for DWI, and although I don't generally go for stamps on piece, that would most definitely be one to go for. Great post! Thanks for including it in the celebration. I am sitting here with a big smile on my face tonight, one might almost say in the shape of a triangle....
Edit: Xavier ( hrdoktorx ) has already answered up on the Tannu Tuva.... bravo, my friend!

I was also thinking about posting these same stamps myself. I think that a triangle stamp-on-stamp issue is well in spirit with this thread! What I have always found just a little odd about this issue is that South Africa would have depicted the 1-Penny Cape triangle as brown, which it was not. There were some brownish shades, to be sure, but it was always brick red, rose red, carmine red.... but nothing like the resolute brown shown in the 1d stamp.

I completely agree, Alex ( vikingeck)! Bisects absolutely need to be collected on cover or at least on piece. I acquired a bisect from Belgium while I was living in France (2018-2019), and it was also on piece, although I believe that it was a philatelic creation rather than a genuine postal use. I note well your assertion from some time ago that "postal history is more than just stamp collecting" and I think it is certainly true. Having a stamp tied onto a cover goes a long way to prove its genuine condition at the time of its use.

Scott #4136 The Settlement of Jamestown, which celebrates the 400th anniversary of Jamestown. This is my favorite stamp. Why? Because my 10th great-grandfather, Thomas Savage, helped found the Jamestown colony. When he was 13 years old he and another child were left as hostages with Chief Powhatan for several years. Pocahontas was his childhood friend.

My dad told me several times how angry he was that as a teen age collector he had soaked the Nova Scotia six pence off a cover. His memory does nothing for the value but it has been kept as a reminder to never do it again. The second one was in a bunch of junk I bought once. They are sadly worthless pieces of paper but take little space 🙂.

I can't speak for everybody, but as a 10 year old, I thought the idea of a stamp in a shape other than a rectangle or square, was really intriguing and whenever I obtained a triangular stamp for my collection I thought it was an unusual and rare thing. I just wonder if that feeling has carried over into adulthood for many of us.
