Here is my quick printer ID guide for the 2nd NVI issues QuestaThe front splay of diadem is connected to adjacent feature. (Deegam). Also, the die cuts measure 15x14¼ (not mentioned in Deegam). The die cuts typically have a more U shape than others. Questa also has a 4 or 5mm phosphor while others are 4.5mm. WalsallThe key feature is the gap between the head and right frame is around 0.7mm. The others are close to 1mm. Also, the values are the thinnest of the printers. The front splay on diadem in upper area is not connected to rest of diadem except at base. The die cuts measure 14¾x14¼. EnschedéThis can be done by eliminating Questa and Walsall. The gap between the head and frame is 1mm and the front splay is not connected to the diadem like Questa. The die cuts measure 14¾x14¼. Deegam notes differences in die cuts but these are more subjective to me. Walsall die cuts have two variations. Gibbons does not provide a separate number for each printer in the Concise. All SG 2039 Scott lists three variations and based upon comparing Scott and Deegam. These appear to match printers. MH292 - Walsall by perf and thin value MH293 - Questa by perf MH294 - Enschedé by perf, thicker values than Walsall, perfs (but more by elimination)
