I am in a quandary about what to do with the stamps my father left me. He looked them up and put them in glassine envelope. My delema is I do not save stamps from around the world. Anyway, I am 78 years old and received the stamps almost 20 years age when my father died. I used to save the USA stamps but over the years that has gone by the wayside. I do not have the coins the add the my collection. I drive UBER to suppliment my income. I really enjoy that. I am not looking for anyone the spend a lot of money, cause, face it, who has a lot of that. I would rather share with the group and if any money comes of it, so be it. I also have a lot of USA stamps purchased from the post office that are in set or individual sets.
There is probably a lot more I could tell you but, I don't want to bore you.
Thanks, Albert78

Welcome!
You have 2 choices: continue the collection or sell.
If you plan to sell, the more you know about stamps the more you will get for them. However, most collections despite being filled with old stamps are usually not worth very much. US stamps after 1930 generally do not have much value especially in used condition. Yes, there are exceptions but again it is not likely you will have them.

Hello Albert and welcome
Not all the people must become a stamp collector. Anyway, if you want to sell your collection because your're not a collector, the best way to do it it's just to became a stamp collector... If you have children, maybe you can think to give it to them as your father gave to you... Anyway, show us some picture and we could tell you averagly how much does it worth
