Here are a few pictures I took from my visit to the Postal Museum in London. A sheet of penny black stamps at the The Postal Museum in London. A William Wyon medal (left), block of Tuppenny Blue stamps (middle) & block of Penny Red stamps (right) at The Postal Museum in London. I believe this is a printing plate for the penny black. They also have the mail rail (London Post Office Railway), which we took a ride on.
The museum is definitely worth a visit if you get the chance. You can find some more pictures over on my instagram account.

freid001 I enjoyed your pics. Regarding the Pic of "Old Original 1" technically this is the original engraved die from which a transfer roll would have been made which in turn would have been used to create the printing plate. After the plate was laid out, the corner letters would have been punched in to complete the plate.
