I suppose the original colors were orange, red and purple but it looks as though someone bleached them. They were part of a larger lot of stamps from eBay so I'm not bothered - just curious as to how the color change came about.

The 5 centimes Orange doesn't look too far off and I suspect it's simply a paler tone. The 5 centimes Rose looks faded, possibly sun bleached. the 20 centimes looks to be either a "changeling" or met with some chemical agent- not sure if it was originally the Brown or the Lilac-Rose issue here's a fast scans of the two denominations of various colors. If nothing else, yours is worth keeping as a curiosity!

Thanks for the reply Stan. The 20c definitely has more lilac than brown. I was going to keep them to use as place holders (back to front) but you're right they are a curiosity. Cheers!
