I was trying to relist some unsold US postal history lots and keep getting this message.
Because USPS Forever Stamps are commonly counterfeited, they may be sold by authorized sellers only. Unfortunately, you will not be able to list this item on eBay.{e143219-1233880x}
They are items previously listed.
Covers from the 1940s
Some FDCs too
Words fail me...

Certainly a weird one Jeff, eBay has auto triggers that can reject certain words as I have seen in the past. Eg Iran , Ivory , Korea have all been bounced in some of my listings , and accepted in others, but I have never had US Forever rejected yet, nor have forgeries been refused whether so described or not.
I know there has been a scandal with forged GB Machin 1st and 2nd class stamps for years and these have frequently been sold on eBay . This allegedly is the reason we started these matrix code replacements in 2022, but why they bounced US covers from 1940s is a mystery.

eBay currently has 943 Forever Stamp listings.
I was able to RELIST one cover in a non-related refrigerator magnets category, but not in postal history.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Whenever I have had problems like these JeffS with blocked listings I invariably search and find a wrong word or box clicked somewhere. Good luck solving the mystery. |

The stupidity is that these were relistings of previous listings. Verbatum!
However... I am able to list new lots from scratch at this time!
