These unusual Cinderellas were hidden in an odd-lot mixture I received last year; sometimes I just don't get around to opening all the little envelopes or boxes that sometimes these lots contain.
There are some subtle humorous aspects, such as the intentional mis-spelling of "Independence" of the fictitious state of "New Nausea".... The depiction of a 19th-Century-style horse-drawn covered wagon on the "Race for Space" label.... A couple more can be spotted if you look! The fact three of the four are perforated might indicate there may be more out there somewhere. Although they are kind of interesting, I think it's possible they were in an Alfred E. Newman MAD Magazine or similar satirical rag. What do you think? I wonder how many "globs" are in a "pile" or maybe it's the other way around???? The Nauseous "Art" looks a bit like it could have been the work of mod-artist Jackson Pollock, don't you think?
