Happy 2023 to all my stamp pals here in the forum!
Have you set any stamp goals for next year?
My resolution is to finish selling the bulk of my duplicates within 3-6 months - maybe trading or donating what doesn’t sell. Selling to me is a once in a while deal - I don’t want to have inventories or stores so I price to sell, almost give away common.
After that - INVENTORY! probably will use EZStamp for that - not sure yet.
How about you?

I am going to work harder on getting my stamp room organized. I start on it and then find myself working on something else so it's not getting anywhere.

I have started a big project! I have for some years tried to gain control over what I have and where it is. (with no big luck). When I have organized all what I have from one country, the next week I find more and so it goes on. This year I have a new approach. First I will go trough all boxes I have and find all envelope archives that over the years have come my way. I will move all stamps into bigger envelopes, and sort on Continent/ country. When that is done I will go trough 70-100 stock books with unorganized stamps, empty them and put the stamps in the right country envelope. ( Some countries need several envelopes) When all this is done, I can start sorting one and one country without risking to find a new bunch of stamps from the same country. This will take time, and some countries will never make it in my system, but then I can sell the envelopes as is. Here is an image from the start yesterday. Now I will go and find some more in the boxes at the back of the StampCave

I want to be better organized in project planning by starting and finishing one project before moving onto another one.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

I'm also looking/hoping for better organization of my accumulation/collection in 2023. To that end I've been working through a couple floor sweeping lots I picked up in 2021. I, too, get tired of thinking I'm done with a country and then finding more stamps.
Eventually I will be mounting on a combination of Steiner and self-designed Steiner-like pages for varieties when I have them. I'm also not fond of Steiner's lack of spaces for singles from blocks/sheets, so some pages will need a re-design.

One thing I want to do in 2023 is to explore philately from "dead countries". I purchased a book before Christmas related to these dead countries. I was fascinated by the history of these lost countries and states who tried to become a society of their own! I have just finished my Biafra collection; the next one, I believe, will be "Thurn und Taxis". This is not a "where" but rather a "who". Thurn and Taxis is in fact a wealthy Italian family that has contributed to the organization of the postal system in Germany and other European countries. I'm still learning about them, but still fascinating! Ha! Ha! Another side track from my Canadian collection!

Each year, I make the same resolutions: to annotate my collection, write down the stories and historical context for each page, and to start exhibiting.
What I actually accomplish is incremental: a few more finds here and there and before I know it I have almost finished a whole country or era or topic or other category.
So, I have filled out enough collecting areas that full annotation is now possible and not just aspirational. As for possible exhibits, I have gone deep enough into a few areas (Morocco, Ethiopia, Thurn and Taxis) that I can try some small exhibits, especially now that one of the regional bourses (Merchantville, NJ) will set up boards for them.

What I collect: Used only - Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Ireland, Western Europe, and Scandinavia, from 1900 to date. That keeps me busy. To be honest I am trying to avoid becoming a WW collector.

I think like everyone organisation is my main aim. A few years ago I inherited a huge accumulation/collection ( I say collection because I found a penny black on a stock card in one of the crates) Its taken me years, but I am still trying to get countries into stockbooks and in catalog order. I am grateful for this inheritance as it is what bought me back to stamp collecting and it has been wonderful fun sorting out and researching what is there. I am getting on top of it but by the end of the year I would like to have it even more organised.
