I'm Len Turner, I live in East Texas, and I'm a stamp collector. I'm 67 years old and have been collecting stamps for close to 40 years. I collected US & WW for many of those years, but in the past few years have downsized to British Empire to 1952. Although in the past I've used Scott, Minkus, Mystic, and Gibbons albums, I have for the last 10 years or so used Bill Steiner's Stamp Album Web pages. I get most of my stamps from APS circuits, the APS Stamp Store, ebay and BidStart.
I belong to several other stamp collecting forums and enjoy them all. I'm sure I'll do the same here.
Regards, Len

Greetings Len, hope you enjoy your stay. I have abandoned Gibbons, they have lost the plot, albeit, their Commonwealth depth of knowledge is second to none.
The Digital searchable printable Scott, is such a pleasure to use, and the future in stamp collecting in my view. I regret not using them from when I began, the change over represents lots of typing.

Welcome, Len! Are you a Texan or just living there? I'm half Texan on my mama's side.

Thanks, Folks! Zuzu... I'm Texan through and through. I guess I should've said, "Howdie Podnah," but they only say that in movies... We do, although, still say "y'all." Len

Hi Len. Welcome to The Stamp Forum!
My only connection to Texas is that I spent a few weeks during 1972 training there, I've got several FDCs of the Texas Statehood issue (Scott 938), and my future Daughter-in-Law is from Houston.

We do, although, still say "y'all." I say "y'all" quite a bit, which sometimes garners strange reactions up here in Nebraska.

Thanks, all y'all! Glad to be here. The wife likes the avatar. She said it looked like one of my old elementary school pictures... Regards, Len
