Ryan has informed us of the sad passing of our dear and active member alanl at the age of 75. He was a long time member and friend to many and despite his ongoing health issues was always a frequent visitor. I personally had many dealings with him even before TSF was born. Alan joined the Forum just 8 days after it went online and he remained active until his passing. He was a friend and will be missed.

As a neophyte collector first joining the forum, Alan was a big influence on me. Of especial interest was his frequent posts on the postmark calendar thread.
