Knowing I have this Tobacco and Anti-Smoking topical collection , this was offered to me at the stamp club swap group last week.
His Majesty King George V having a quiet smoke it appears.
It is a curious flaw which enlarged at 1200DPI scan does not appear to be a surface scratch or damage. The crosshatched red lines are on top of the "cigarette"
I guess it is not a constant flaw or it would have been noticed decades ago , but curious never the less . A fun talking point on a page .
