Korea is really outside my comfort zone when it comes to philatelic knowledge. Another problematic issue for me is the 1955-1956 Reconstruction series. The 20 hwan stamp was issued in 1955 and 1956 (Mi 202x and 213x), but how can you tell these two apart?

Your stamp is either Mi.188 (left stamp, issued Oct.19th,1955) or Mi.202 (right stamp Feb.10th,1955):
Mi.188 is printed on watermark 1 (horizontal curved lines) - paper, while Mi.202 is printed on laid paper.
It cannot be Mi.213,because that has a different design:
the difference is in the last letter of the top line.
If your stamp should be Mi.202,what I doubt, you should have a look, wether it has a vertical or horizontal laid paper.Horizontal laid paper stamps are much more expensive than vertically laid ones.
Left stamp vertical,right horizontal.(not Mi.202,but 207)

With your help I managed to identify the stamp as Mi 202 with vertical laid paper.

You´re welcomed ! I think you are right.A close look to your stamp, shows the vertical stripes.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Found this in another stock book today. It is a 1983 set issued by Korea to commemorate PHILA KOREA 84. It features many facets of the countries postal service in a package from a local business.
