Denmark, going through my duplicates to see if I can help anglobob . Unfortunately, no such luck. And France, to find a fugitive ink example.

I’ve been working through a 3kg German charity kiloware sack I recently purchased from Nordfrim. It’s pleasantly turned out to have more off paper than on. It’s going to fill plenty of holes, especially German areas and Switzerland.

Denmark! Tomorrow Finland! I sorted a lot alphabetically and now I am putting them away. Duplicates go into a box which will eventually be donated to the Flagler County Stamp and Coin club, or to Stamps for the Wounded!

The map is anachronistic for my latest project: postmarks from the forerunners of French African colonies. GAB and ASI are marks for outposts that later became Gabon and Ivory Coast (Assinie). They were combined into the colony of "Cote D'Or et Gabon".
Rivieres du Sud is a postmark I have been seeking for a long time. It was a dependency of Senegal that later, after the conquest of interior kingdoms, became French Guinea.

In the last few days, I have been working on Guinea (precursor), Czechia, and Ethiopia.
I am now curious as to whether there are any countries nobody is working on. Which is the very least interesting country?

Today, Mauritania.
A circuit book included the rare, unissued 99A, forcing me to convert my 1938-40 pages from Scott ordering (geared to my wantlist) to Maury. Completion of the set allows me to split it up by year of printing.

I have been sorting some Japan and learning a lot. My first time at actually trying to learn the stamps other than just saying that is a pile of stamps from Japan.

I'm in Ghana, looking for places where people live. Here's what I got for postmarks so far; I'm about ⅔ of the way through the Ghanaian hoard I extracted from the African Megamix a week or two ago. Just a note about that city up on its own in the north: yeah, it's spelled Tamale. It's pronounced Tamale, too, except the accent's on the first syllable. Or that's what I think, anyway; IPA is brain science. Tamale is actually the core of the third largest metropolitan area in Ghana. It looks isolated now, but it was on several trading routes and was an important town in the Kingdom of Dagbon, which was there from maybe the 13th or 14th century up to the 20th. Even now, the hereditary rulers of Dagbon have important roles in society in the northern regions of Ghana and Togo. As for the stamps themselves? I don't know yet. The mixture has given me a decent start on some nice definitive series that shouldn't be too hard to fill in with good used copies. (Oh yeah. If you think my printing is bad - and if you do, you're right - you should see the damage I can do to script and handwriting of all kinds. Some day in the future, I'll typeset the place-names and locate them more precisely on the map. I ran this copy off as a first draft and didn't put a grid on it.)

As part of my Nordfrim order, I had a new stockbook, meant to give proper breathing room for some Africa B countries: namely Burkina Faso and Botswana. Which will then also give Ascension Island, the Afars & Issas, and Angola room to expand!
Edit: Turns out there's enough room for Basutoland and Bechuanaland to join in..., which also helps Cabo Verbe, Cyrenaica, Cabo Juby, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia and Eritrea.

WOW - check out our map! If I missed your country from posts above, let me know and I’ll amend this.
I’m not sure what to do with countries that were broken up - such as Russia. But, to keep things simple, maybe I’ll just continue to go with the current geo-political maps.

I am preparing my giveaway for tomorrow - Newfoundland No real stamping as I have spent the night at the ER (emergency room) with Denise for "belly aches" - She has now returned at home and when she was discharged, the ER forgot to Fax the M.D.'s prescription (or simply did not do it !) at our Pharmacy - A problem I was happy to solve - not happy with them René

I sorted out Liberia, after learning that it was effectively an unofficial German colony before the Great War.
