This cancel of the town Kamifurano 上富良野 (Hokkaido) shows the observation deck at the Hinode Park (which literally means 'Sunrise Hill Park') surronded by lavenders in the foregraound and Mount Tokachi in the background. [Date of cancellation: 10 June 2024.] This is the observation deck in real life: Inside this park is a campground where I stayed for one night. The sunrise seen on the top of the hill looks like this: This place is said to be 'the birthplace for Furano's lavenders': Although at the time of my visit in October, there were not many flowers blooming, it's beautiful still:
