Ok, I ordered the whole set of stamps 2 days ago! We'll see how long it takes Royal Mail to get them to the US. Shipping was only £2.50.

Yep. The whole set I listed earlier. It takes 2 weeks to get stamps from Ukraine. I'm hoping England will get here sooner.

Well. today was my last chance to get the Doctor Who stamps before the 50th anniversary episode tommorrow, and it did not happen. :-(

All I will tell you is it exceeded all my expectations!
Went to my local stamp store today, and the owner told me that he ordered a bunch of royal wedding stamps from Royal Mail and it took him 3 MONTHS to get the stamps.
God, I hope I don't have to wait that long.

Going to crack the envelope open in a minute. Kids want to see it. Here's a shot of the envelope:  The lack of stamps on the envelope is a bit disappointing. The back looks like this:  Quite the hefty package. Feels like there is a lot of cardboard in there to keep it nice and stiff. |

And now... The Doctor Who Stamp Unboxing! When you cut open the envelope, you see the cardboard and a packing slip:  Opened packing slip:  And you move the cardboard to reveal:  The Prestige Stamp Booklet is double sided. The cover on one side shows the first doctor:  The other side shows the current doctor:  The booklet is tape bound a contains sheets inside with stamps and without them. I'm debating whether I want to take it apart and mount the pages with the stamps. The next thing in the pile is the Presentation Pack, which appears to be the stamps of the 11 Doctors in a nice tri-fold holder that opens up to reveal some history of Doctor Who:   Next is the souvenir sheet in some fancy packaging:   Then we have the individual stamp strips, which is turns out I didn't need. They came in the presentation pack:   Then we have the booklet, which contains 4 TARDIS stamps, and one stamp for the first and the current Doctor:   And lastly, the Doctor Who generic sheet  |

Sweet, I like that last one! I didn't know that it had the Masters and other villains on there. The nice thing is it has the villains over time. All the way to the left is the picture of their first appearance. All the way to the right, is what they look like in the new show. I haven't measured the sheet yet, but I think it's too bag to fit in a stamp album. |

So, Stanley Gibbons has stopped responding to emails. They said their marketing dept would contact me about using SG catalogue numbers on the Doctor Who pages. After that someone at SG must have said "Silence Will Fall!"
So, as soon as this blasted bandage comes off my wrist, I'll clean up the pages and release them.
